NSW orders any traveller from Melbourne within past two weeks to isolate immediately

0
Face Of Nation International : Anyone who has travelled into New South Wales from the Greater Melbourne area in the last two weeks must immediately enter self-isolation at home.
The new isolation order includes everyone who entered the state from June 24 onwards regardless of when they arrived, 9News’ Political Reporter Chris O’Keefe reported tonight.

Travellers will only be allowed to leave isolation when they are tested for coronavirus and return a negative result or when their two-week period ends, timed from the day they start isolating. The order could have huge ramifications for tens of thousands of travellers who fled Melbourne within the past two weeks to escape the city’s enforced lockdown amid Victoria’s COVID-19 outbreak.
Within the past two weeks alone, Sydney Airport has accepted 200 flights from Melbourne.
